My son Aurelio and I recently visited Tucson’s Square and Compass Children’s Down Syndrome Clinic for the first time. We were greeted warmly by everyone from the receptionist at the front desk to each staff member regardless if they were attending Aurelio or just passing by. Aurelio got to choose a stuffed animal. He loves his stuffed toys. We met several medical professionals that day; had a check-up by a PCP, hearing checked by an Audiologist, vision by an Optometrist, and many more as well as securing appointments for a Dentist and an ENT. We also received a couple outside referrals for support services. It shows that every person in the clinic has education and experience with exceptional children. What a relief to finally have a place to bring Aurelio, where under one roof he could see everyone he needed. We are completely at ease knowing the level of care he has and will receive. Words cannot express the gratitude we have for Tucson’s Square and Compass Children’s Clinic.
